Who we are

We first opened our doors in 1985 under the management of Frank Massey who, with over 40 years of industry experience, is renowned as one of the UK’s leading experts in vehicle diagnostics. Frank was the first independent technician to achieve the prestigious Master Technician level and holds the IMI’s esteemed Fellowship of the Motor Industry, which is the highest grade possible within our industry’s national professional association. Now semi-retired, Frank’s expertise and knowledge remain unparalleled.

Frank’s son David now runs the business and brings over 15 years of accumulated experience to the table. He takes ADS customer service to the next level, ensuring that your experience exceeds expectations. Additionally, David has introduced exciting new directions for the company, including performance tuning. He is the go-to specialist for ECU remapping and improving the efficiency of Turbo diesel and Turbo petrol cars in Preston and across the North West.

What we do at ADS

We work solely on VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda vehicles. We are proud to deliver a truly unique experience and a friendly alternative to the main dealers at a fraction of the cost and with access to full dealership software. We undertake all the services that you’d expect a quality independent garage to provide such as MOT testing and servicing for all VW Audi Group cars (including T5s and T6s) and a full range of mechanical repairs, as well as more specialist services such as expert vehicle diagnostics and ECU remapping.
